Facilitation and Training with Rachel Young

This is an exciting day designed to introduce therapists to the fundamentals of group development theory, learn how to hold a group safely, understand some of the dynamics that can occur in groups and to start a toolbox of basic group facilitation skills.  There will be opportunities through the day for participants to work experientially and to share their experiences and understandings with their colleagues. This CPD day will give you the skills to facilitate small groups safely and effectively deliver training and workshops.

Rachel Young trained in Group Therapy with the Gestalt Centre gaining a Higher Diploma in Gestalt Group Therapy Theory and Practice and is highly experienced at working with groups in therapeutic and training settings, including running 12 and 6-week full time addiction treatment programmes in Bullingdon Prison from 2006 to 2009 and as a Tutor delivering Counselling Training up to Diploma Level at BCA since 2011.
