Is there something in your way? Do you sometimes feel blocked from moving forward in life? In my experience it isn’t always easy to accept, or even recognise the times when we need to talk to someone about what is going on, but it can often be rewarding to share our thoughts and feelings with somebody who is there to listen without prejudice or judgement.
It is my belief that we all have very unique and individual reasons and circumstances surrounding our issues; and I am open to working in a non-judgemental way with anyone who feels they need to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment.
I am an integrative counsellor, trained at Banbury Counselling Academy with experience of working with a diverse range of clients and issues. Having previously worked within the NHS, both in primary care and the emergency services, I have been able to train to work with patients and colleagues presenting with a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and PTSD; and I have been able to transfer this invaluable experience to develop my skills in working as a counsellor.
I have experience of working with issues such as those listed below:
· Bereavement and Loss
· Anxiety and Depression
· Work-Place Stress
· Faith and Spirituality
· Adults and Young People
· The Effects of Chronic and Terminal Illness
· Bullying and Low Self-esteem
I also have experience of working with young people in an educational setting, so if you are having trouble with subjects such as exam stress, peer pressure or bullying then please feel free to contact me to discuss.
If you would like to know more, please call me on 07458 623352 or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. I am happy to discuss any concerns or thoughts you may have and look forward to hearing from you.
